Director Grady Hall Joins Partizan

Partizan signs the director of masterful character-driven narratives and original visual storytelling, Grady Hall.

Award-winning commercial and music video director Grady Hall, formerly of Motion Theory, has signed with Partizan for worldwide representation.

"Grady's one of a very small handful of directors with a mastery of both character-driven narrative and highly original visual storytelling," said Partizan US CEO/Executive Producer Sheila Stepanek. "We're thrilled to join forces with him." Hall's expansive work reaches across brand categories and creative genres, including commercial efforts for Budweiser, EA Sports, Microsoft, Target, and Toyota, and music videos for top artists including Katy Perry, Capital Cities, and Beck. Additionally, he's written for multiple television series, and directed, produced, and helped launch Sam Raimi's hit cable series "Spartacus: Blood & Sand."

Previously, as one of the founding directors of the Motion Theory directing team, Hall helped to originate the studio's pioneering art-in-motion style. He then made his mark as a solo director, with his work garnering a Grammy nomination, winning awards from the VMAs, Clios, AICP, and D&AD, and landing him appearances on the "Directors to Watch" and "Top 10 Directors in Demand" lists – while tallying nearly a billion YouTube hits in the process.  Hall's impressive creative versatility continues with his most recent work, which includes a magical Target fashion spot; a design-and-documentary Visa campaign and installation; and an epic visual Lexus holiday campaign launching this week.

Hall is excited about joining the new team, noting, "Partizan embodies creative leadership and values having exceptional people in every role. My arm's bruised from pinching myself."
